The artist / In his own words
About.
Vertical Jones
Vertical Jones is a true force to be reckoned with in the music world. Hailing from the Ivy Hill section of Newark, NJ, the same area as Grammy award-winning icons Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, Jones is an artist with a unique blend of influences and a sound that is all his own.
As a triple threat, Jones writes, produces, and mixes all of his own music, drawing inspiration from the iconic production style of Timbaland to create tracks that are both intricate and infectious.
Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of his artistry is his synesthesia. With the ability to see color and mood in sound, Jones's music is a truly sensory experience, one that draws the listener in and refuses to let go.
